Bay area radio station 107.7 "The Bone" recently held a competition to promote the new Burger King "Stackers" Burger. The "Battle of the Bay" was to see who could make the tallest BK Stacker tower for a bunch of prizes. The winning stacker was 11 inches high!

Burger King has new sandwich called “BK™ Stackers,” which allow customers the opportunity to create their own size of BK sandwich. Each “Stack” consists of ¼ pound burger patties, a slice of cheese and strips of bacon. You can stack 1, 2 or 3 patties...more if you think you can handle it!

To celebrate the new BK™ Stackers sandwich, Burger King is inviting customers from all over the country to join the BK™ Stackers Union.

We held the "Battle of the Bay" Stack-Off at the Burger King on Van Ness AVenue in San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon and it was an epic battle:

Raiders vs. 49ers: Mauricio Jimenez and Ralph Georgi vs. Tim Cannon, Bob Moreno and Nick Vohlmann

Dressed for battle, the two teams were briefed on the rules from the judge, Joe Rock

The Raiders team of Ralph and Mauricio were off to a fast start...

...but Bob, Tim and Nick of the 49ers team came up with a plan

Aaarrrggh - it fell over!

Joe measures the winning stack - 11 inches!

The 49ers team celebrates!

The winners received $1,500.00, 48 free BK™ Double Stackers, game tickets and a trip to NYC to compete nationally against other BK™ Stackers Unions...wow!

Thanks to all who entered and congrats again, Tim, Bob and Nick! Good luck in NYC!
