[From SlashFood] Coming from the "My wallet is too fat and needs emptying" department, this $1000 baked treat sure better taste good! It's the $1000 brownie from a place called "Brulee", Atlantic City, NJ. This chocolaty treat s made with "hazelnuts imported from Italy, topped with gold dust, served with a vintage port wine in a $750 Baccarat crystal [atomizer] that the dessert-eater gets to keep as a souvenir". The atomizer is meant to be sprayed directly into the mouth after the brownie to enhance the flavors. Have to agree with Nicole at Slashfood on this one, "Frankly, the concept does not sound that appealing or romantic - especially if you have ever glanced at the chocolate-coated teeth of someone eating a fudgy brownie. Hahaha! You can check out their menu here, http://www.bruleedesserts.com/CrystalMenu.aspx
