Now THIS is television! Last week a new show aired on the Travel Channel called, "Man v Food". The show features Adam Richmond, an experienced restaurateur traveling around America trying to complete the many legendary eating challenges we all love at SupersizedMeals.com. Each week we'll be summarizing the challenges that he'll be talking about, and linking to stories we've written in the past (if they qualify of course!). Here's a summary of their first episode containing the "Burger from Hell", "Chicken Fried Steak", and one of our all time favorites, "The 72oz 'Big Texan' Steak Challenge"

In this weeks episode:

The Burger from Hell, Coyote Bluff Cafe, Amarillo, TX
The Coyote Bluff Cafe in Amarillo, Texas is where you'll find "The Burger from Hell". It's got an 1/2lb all beef patty, a full cup of jalapeƱos, habanero hot sauce, cayenne hot sauce, and a mountain of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. The owner claims they sell between 200-300 burgers/day, that's a lot of beef! The burger from hell is apparently by far the most popular. Still got room afterwards? Try their 3lb side dish of cheese fries! 2lb fries 1lb cheese, and topped with green peppers. It might be spicy, but it's got nothing on The World's Hottest Burger

Chicken Fried Steak, Stockyard Cafe, Amarillo, TX
The Stockyard Cafe, also in Amarillo, Texas sports the Chicken Fried Steak. A 7oz beef cutlet is cooked fried chicken style. The beef is first tenderized, seasoned with salt and pepper, dipped in a 15 eggs to 1 cup buttermilk wash, coated it in plain flour, then grilled in clarified butter. Served with mashed potato and gravy, this is home cooked goodness at its finest!
