Minimiam (Mini-people in a big food world)

Imagine a chocolate eclair that was 12 ft high? Or maybe climbing a Mt Rum Ball? Digging out a watermelon seed with a crowbar? These are just some of the photos in this set. These guys placed tiny models into food, then got the Macro lens out and took photos. Awesome

The "Earth Sandwich"
Zefrank runs a video blog called "The Show". In this particular episode, he has a challenge for all "Sports Racers" (the audience) to make the world even more awesome. It could be the largest supersized meal possible! An Earth Sandwich! You've got to check it out, it's hilarious. He even has a "find the opposite tool", which lets you locate where on the opposite side of the world you'd need to place a slice of bread to make an Earth sandwich! And don't forget the song...

"As I lay this bread on the ground,
I know my job ain't done.
It leaves the earth open-faced,
And over-exposed to the sun....

Look at the beer cup snake go!
Nothing says "Aussie" like beer and cricket. And when it comes to a meal in a cup, a nice cold frostie is definately the best way to cool down during a hot day in the sun. For those that don't know, a beer cup snake is when you take all your empty beer cups, stack them, then join them all together. This is the longest beer cup snake I've ever seen, compliments of The Fanatics and their day at the WACA (Perth cricket ground)

U.S. Fast-Food Chains Agree To Voluntary Cheese Limits

From: http://www.theonion.com/content/node/27739

OAK PARK, IL—Fearful of the prospect of class-action lawsuits, seven of the nation's largest fast-food chains voluntarily agreed Monday to place cheese limits on their own sandwich items.

"With Americans becoming increasingly health-conscious and litigious, the restaurant industry felt it necessary to protect itself with a self-imposed cheese cap," said Paul Conklin, president of the National Association of Fast-Food Retailers. "Gone are the days when we could load a burger with seven slices of fatty, cholesterol-laden American cheese without fear of reprisal."

Taco Town!

Taco Town!

The "Taco Town" commercial on SNL. Been around for a while, but an absolute classic. If only there was a crunchy all beef taco, smothered in nacho cheese, lettuce, tomato, smothered in a south western sauce, then wrapped in a soft flour tortilla with a layer of refried beans.....
