That $9.95 pizza not quite enough to impress your rich friends with? Why not just add gold? That's what one contestant at the
NY Pizza Show did. Apparently the pizza was quite good, which was a shame because the gold leaf apparently added little to the pizza (other than a little more bling).

This one was from Spain, though we didn't know that at the time, since it was a double-blind judging. Gold leaf was laid on the pie. It didn't have a flavor. This one was great. The crust, sauce, cheese distro. Everything. The only complaint I had was that it had gold leaf on it, which is more gimmick than anything.
