Probably wasn't their fault In-n-out says 4x4 max

I would be willing to bet that the problem In-n-out had with this was not the stunt, but rather the raw meat that was plastered all over the internet. A huge burger stunt actually is promotion worthy for a niche burger chain. But what is NOT is seeing a bunch of raw hamburger served to customers. I am sure that pissed In-n-out management off immensely, and was almost certainly why they said no more big burgers. Raw hamburger can get a chain in big trouble these days.

So don't hate on these guys for ordering and eating a big burger, for "ruining it for the rest of us". Blame the restaurant employees for cutting corners and selling raw hamburger.
