Fernando Alonso's Chocolate Formula-1 Car
While this car probably won't drive too quickly, the speed that it moves from the table to the mouth would be pretty quick! This scale model F1 McLaren-Mercedes MP4/22 was made as a tribute to racing legend Fernando Alonso. Weighing in at 120Kg, he might want to wait till after winning the title before eating it...
Carbon fiber, aluminum...chocolate? Regrettably, this isn't a new development in F1 construction technology, but a motor racing fan's fantasy: a replica Formula One race car, made entirely of chocolate. Incredibly, it wasn't made as a promotional tool for the Belgian Grand Prix, either. A pastry chef from the town of Ibi in the Spanish province of Alicante created this cocoa concoction as a tribute to national hero Fernando Alonso, whom the locals are likely to submit for canonization if he pulls off a third consecutive driver's title this season.
Domino's "Aussie Meat Pie" Pizza
Recently, Domino's Pizza
have been releasing a range of different pizzas on their menu, one of them being "The Aussie Meat Pie Pizza". The idea is they've taken an Aussie meat pie, and combined it with pizza, so it's pretty much a pizza base topped with meat pie filling and topped with a big slice of cheese. Mmmmm... meaty!
THE traditional Aussie meat pie isn't known for its looks – and neither is the new meat pie pizza. Until now, the most creative makeovers of the humble meat pie have involved stacking things on top of it. This week Domino's stacked it on something else.
The Bogan Burger, Napier Hotel, Fitzroy, VIC, AU
The Bogan Burger has a clearly defined target audience, the bogan... A Bogan is a person who is, or is perceived to be, unsophisticated or of a lower class background. According to the stereotype, the speech and mannerisms of "bogans" indicate poor education and uncultured upbringing. The term is mainly applied to white, working-class people
. I think they're just a class of person who likes a good feed every now and then, and this certainly is a good feed! The $15.50 burger's big turkish bread roll is topped with a steak, a chicken schnitzel, a potato cake, bacon, egg, cheese, onion, pineapple and beetroot.
Enough to satisfy any bogan, or anyone!

IF dietitians want a bunfight, the Napier Hotel is armed to the teeth and licking its lips.
While experts are aghast one in four teenagers has a daily fast-food fix and even McDonald's feels obliged to sell salads, the pub is unrepentant. The Fitzroy pub's Bogan Burger is big enough to feature on the Tourism Victoria website, a natural wonder like the 12 Apostles.
You may have heard of the BK Octo Stacker from earlier stories
, but what if you don't like BK, and only want Wendy's? Simple! Just make your own! Looks like Wendy's have put a limit of 6 extra patties you can get on the one burger (similar to In 'n' Out), so just get a few burgers and make your own! That's what the guys from NewYorkeProductions did!
Inspired by the Burger King Octo-Stacker, we attempted our own at the local Wendy's
Gigantic Chinese Hot Pot
They say dining with friends is the most rewarding way to enjoy your food. Well, how about 152 others at the same table? That's what the diners at Qilong Restaurant did. This massive table is 6 to 8 meters wide and filled with hot pot goodness!
There are total of sixty-four restaurants hosting the feast with more than 1,000 tables being set up. The massive hotpot as pictured is specially prepared by Qilong Restaurant for the event. It is 6 to 8 meters wide with room for 152 diners. Thus setting a new Guinness World Record.
The feast started at 7pm and continued until after midnight. For US $1.9 per person, the diners enjoyed five meat dishes, five vegetable dishes, beer or soft drinks.

But of 24 hours without eating, MORIAMOS of hunger, so we were by Crude ones and we came to disappear them, the video this to 8 times the speed, since at normal speed it lasts 28 minutes, but I wanted to make it Non-Stop, so it accelerates it

Thorntons creates World's First Chocolate Billboard
] Easter, a time for chocolate... lots and lots of chocolate! Thorntons
, a Chocolatier in the UK recently created a 14.5ft by 9.5ft chocolate billboard, which was subsequently eaten in about 3 hours by passers by. Considering it took 10 people 300 hours to construct, knocking it over in 3 isn't too bad!
An edible billboard made from pure chocolate was eaten in just three hours. Thorntons invited passers-by to tuck into the 14.5ft by 9.5ft sign in Covent Garden, London, reports the BBC. The Easter creation, a world first, was made of 10 chocolate bunnies, 72 giant chocolate eggs and 128 chocolate panels, each weighing 2kg.
Google serves The Luther Burger
Google looks after its employees better than any other company I know.... but I don't know about whether you'd class this as "looking after them". Recently one of the Google Kitchens served up the famous "Luther Burger", for those that don't know - the luther Burger is a bacon cheeseburger served on a Krispy Kreme bun.
According to a few sources, it tastes like a candied burger, or at least what they thought a candied burger would taste like. Kudos to Google for continuing to innovate! Hahah...
Yes, that is a grilled Krispy Kreme donut as the bun. No, I did not have one.
World's Largest Buffet, Holmes County, Ohio
Following on from our earlier post about The World's Largest Buffet
, Kurt Kleidon who helped organise the event was kind enough to send us some photos! It looks like the record, previously held by the Las Vegas Hilton
has been broken!
From: Kurt Kleidon via Email
WALNUT CREEK, OHIO—Las Vegas may have a lot of things, but it looks like it will have to surrender the record for the world’s largest buffet. On Saturday, March 24, Ohio's Holmes County set the mark by serving 547 distinguishable dishes to a crowd of more than 1,500.
