Deep Fried Nacho Bowl
I mean come on... seriously.... cheese just shouldn't look like that...

Not a bad effort. Mostly meat, mostly from pre-packaged meats. Ingredients consisted of full packs of Bacon Bits, Sliced Chicken Breast, Sliced Smoked Ham, Sliced Bacon, Pepperoni, Salami, Sliced Turkey Breast, Pastrami, stacked on a double Ham roll. Meat roll++
A few hours ago I constructed the best sandwich I had ever tasted in my life. The ingredients? Meat. Garlic Bread. Win. Do yourself a favor /ck/, and make one immediately.
The 1.5Kg Home Cooked Steak Challenge
After previously eating a 1KG steak with ease around a month ago, me and a friend decided to try a 1.5KG steak + sides (150 grams
of potato chips and a handful of peas and corn, topped with mushroom gravy made from pan juices!) The whole meal was cooked by me and took around 50 minutes to cook, due to the thickness of the steaks. Lachlan had his steak cooked "well done" while I had mine "medium". The entire meal was finished in a mere 25 minutes by Lachlan (my friend aged 16) and 26 minutes by me, Jono aged 18.
The Supercharged Motor BBQ
Got a spare motor lying around the garage, and a need for a new BBQ? Why not make a Supercharged Motor BBQ? This guy did. It looks to be a Big Block Chevrolet, polished chrome cover, chrome air filter, plugs, and all the other good stuff that makes a motor look great. He's ripped out the guts, put in a grill plate, and fitted some gas burners. It's even got a Chevrolet Grill Plate! How good would those man-sized steaks be with a Chevvy imprint on them?

Bacon Apple Pie
Yes, you read right... Bacon... Apple... Pie.... Everything is better with Bacon, right? Apparently Bacon + Apple Pie = win!
So recently on the food_porn community at livejournal, someone posted a recipe for bacon apple pie. Everyone has been telling me and my roommates that this it was bound to taste like fail and lose and we were totally nuts for trying it out. Everyone, apparently, had no idea wtf they were talking about.
Alexandra and the Giant Pumpkin
Unlike James and the Giant Peach, this is actually real. At this years National Amateur Gardening show, a contestant brought along a 200kg (440lb) Pumpkin to enter into one of the 27 categories of competition. Another contestant entered a 15ft Carrot! Pumpkin soup anyone?
With record breaking rainfall and devastating floods, you might have thought our dismal summer would have pretty much scuppered this year's harvest. But judging from the whopping vegetables on display at the National Amateur Gardening show, the weather has not entirely put a dampener on the year's crop. One pumpkin entered in the UK's National Giant Vegetable Championships in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, weighed in at 200kg.
Food Challenge Friday - 20 Nuggets in 2 Minutes
The McNugget McMaster would be proud of this attempt!
It's Food Challenge Friday, and the contestant is attempting to down 20 nuggets in 2 minutes. Will he have what it takes to beat the challenge?
After two very unsuccessful attempts at this challenge, Joe’s cousin Nick steps up to the plate. Nick the man-mountain shows promise at first sight. Prior to attempting this challenge he ate about 50 wings, 2 cheeseburgers, 8 taquitos, a half a dozen hard boiled eggs, 1 package of shredded cheese, a cow, and a deer. Yum, love that venison.
Giant Home Made Snickers
Mr T would have to agree, this one's got some nuts!
