The Japanese Monster Burger Tower
Contributed by: Billy
Somewhere in Japan... The store is called, "Monster Burger", and for good reason! It seems all this place makes are square burgers stacked high enough to need a skewer! The burgers even come wrapped in a convenient "Monster Box" with an easy-grip handle. Now you might think this is just a single burger. Oh no, this is 3 meals in one! Read on my friend, read on...

OK, OK, photos of weird Japanese fast food aren’t that exciting. I’ll try not to do this too often. But it snowed yesterday. It’s bloody cold. I cannot be faulted for looking through vacation photos from August in an effort to remember what summer feels like. On this particular day, I was at the Decks shopping mall on Odaiba, looking for souvenirs for the folks back home. I’d just survived the third day of Comiket, I’d been walking a lot, and I was kind of worn down - if I was going to get any souvenir shopping accomplished, I needed food.

The McNuggetini

The McNuggetini.... a concoction of McDonalds Thickshake, BBQ Sauce, and McNuggets... oh, and Vodka... don't forget copious amounts of Vodka... You'll need it to get through this one!
From: http://thisrecording.com/2008/04/08/in-which-georgia-gives-you-the-mcnuggetini/
For a few months now, my girl Alie and I had an idea for the perfect late night/after hours snack. It started as a joke. We found ourselves hungry after last call, and seemed to be having regular cravings for McNuggets. Alie’s obsession and constant quest to find the perfect alcoholic beverage/dinner/dessert (also see: White Russian), led us to concoct what is sure to become the new craze for the upscale watering holes.

Supersized Hamburger on Japanese TV Show
Contributed by: Billy
Here's a vid from a Japanese TV show, showing a restaurant in Japan (I think) claiming to have the World's Largest Hamburger! They start off the vid with a humble 6kg version, but then shortly after 4 guys carry out the big gun.... a 62cm wide, 35cm high "Max Burger"! Made from 30kg of Mince, 180 slices of cheese, 40 tomatoes, 6 onions, 5 heads of lettuce, it comes to 145,100 kcal!!! I'm not sure what the total weight was, or where this burger was made, but it's a damn fine effort! (Anyone that understands Japanese care to translate in the comments?)
Update: Total weight is 60.5kg! (that's 133lb's!!!) That just under Mallie's 134lb'er, very close to being the world's largest hamburger! (thanks for the comments anon!)

Man vs Bacon Explosion
Contributed by: Billy
So you've no doubt seen the Bacon Explosion, but have you seen anyone eat one in its entirety? David "SyKoBOZO" Cagle (Thanks Wild Bill!), took the challenge to see whether he could eat a Bacon Explosion in one sitting. Equivalent to eating 56 McCheeseburgers, can David do it?
