The Value Meal Challenge: Carl's Jr's Double Six Dollar Burger

Back last year when I was in California I set myself a challenge, to build the biggest burger possible from a Fast Food Value Meal. The rules were simple, I could only get a burger that was on the menu, and exchange items in the Value Meal for something of equal status. For example, I could swap the Fries with Onion Rings, but not the Fries for another burger. Once all the items were on the tray, I then had to construct the largest burger possible. Voila! I present to you, the Carl's Jr Double Six Dollar Burger, Large Onion Rings, Supersized Coke. Can you make a bigger burger? But...Carl's Jr SELLS a Double Six Dollar Burger. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Now, a Double DOUBLE Six Dollar Burger would be fantastic. Consider it a challenge.

It's only 2 pounds and doesn't even have a huge bun, bacon, or globs of plastic cheese. I think you can knock it down to about 2500 calories if you just make the double with no mayo or cheese at all. They hit with about 1450 calories of power as ordered solo on the menu. If I find the time over the weekend I will give it a go, make a mega-mac to be remembered! Now... what about a Double-6 OCTO?!11!1one

Looks like he's actually eating a double six dollar with some onion rings. I suppose that's admirable, although no feat. I easily wolfed down a double $6 western and crisscuts.. when i wasn't busy doing a 12x12 from in and out...
