Contributed by: Billy
Bay area radio station 107.7 "The Bone" recently held a competition to promote the new Burger King "Stackers" Burger. The "Battle of the Bay" was to see who could make the tallest BK Stacker tower for a bunch of prizes. The winning stacker was 11 inches high!

Burger King has new sandwich called “BK™ Stackers,” which allow customers the opportunity to create their own size of BK sandwich. Each “Stack” consists of ¼ pound burger patties, a slice of cheese and strips of bacon. You can stack 1, 2 or 3 patties...more if you think you can handle it!

Skinnyboy and the IHOP AYCE Pancake Challenge
Contributed by: Billy
Googlemaps Location: Aurora, CO, USA
When it comes to getting value for money out of an "All You Can Eat" meal deal, Skinnyboy sure does get a good deal! On his latest adventure, Andrew "Skinnyboy" Lane hits his local IHOP, and he hits it hard. There's an All You Can Eat menu option for pancakes. 28 pancakes later, he calls it a day...

It's January 13, 2007. Me, T-bone, mes and Shamalamalama converge on the International House of Pancakes on Parker & Orchard. 4:30pm. If you haven't had IHOP pancackes before, they are good. Very good.

Gal Sone vs Giant Shirota Hamburger Battle!
Contributed by: Billy
That crazy Super(tiny)sized eater Gal Sone goes up against Giant Shirota in a hamburger eating battle.... "Hamburger" meaning just the meat, not the traditional Hamburger with pickles and a bun that we're used to... Considering her size, she does pretty well, scoring 22 burgers vs 24 by the Giant! Her eyes freak me out a bit though... what gives with the black contacts?

The Pandasmash Taco Bell Eat-Off #2
Contributed by: Billy
Those crazy guys over at Pandasmash are at it again... this time, the event for the Idi0lympics involves purchasing every item on the Taco Bell menu, an NBA style draft to see who gets what, and of course the challenge to see who can eat it all the fastest!
From: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO44Fmuaymg
Four guys order one of every item on the Tbell menu, then have an NBA-style draft to see who can eat their picks the fastest.

Plenty have heard of the 72oz "Big Texan", but a lesser known, much larger steak challenge exists at "AJ's Steakhouse" in Grinnell, Iowa. The Challenge: To finish their 205oz "The Big Kahuna" steak. Sound impossible? Well, so far no one has done it, but one competitor managed to finish off 150oz, just 55oz short of the whole thing! He says he could have done it, but he "had to work tomorrow".... crazy! Only one small pic, but an interesting read...

GRINNELL - What edible entity can you think of that weighs well over 12 pounds, is served with garlic bread, potatoes, and salad, and isn't available anywhere else in the world except Iowa? If you guessed "The Big Kahuna", you hit the nail on the head. AJ's Steakhouse, located off Interstate 80, exit 182 on Hwy. 146 in Grinnell, celebrated their one year anniversary Thursday evening by unveiling a monster 205-oz. sirloin steak to its customers.

A mighty claim indeed! One that I'm sure will be contested by our readers. But regardless, Andrew decided that it was time to see just how much internal damage he could do to himself without being admitted to hospital. With rubber gloves at the ready, Andrew was ready to take on "The Hottest Burger in the World"!!! Oh, and the challenge, finish the whole burger, and you get your name on the wall... and a sore sphincter sometime later that evening...
