Bear Silber Goes from Eats Feat to Pizzeria Ownership

Bear Silber got his start in the pizza business by devouring a 20-inch, five-pound pie in just 38 minutes.And as serendipity would have it, the 26-year-old Silber is now part owner of Pizza Party in Santa Clara, the same restaurant where he performed his feat in December 2006. (His record on the "Belly Buster" lasted four days, until competitive eating champ Joey Chestnut did it in 17 minutes.)

Thanks to anon for finding this vid! It's the 1lb of Bacon BLT from Tony's in Birch Run, MI. The name pretty much says it all. 1lb of Bacon, and some lettuce and tomato thrown in for good measure. For $7.79, this one is a heartstopper!

Although the video doesn't show the entire event, they're claiming that this man has managed to beat the 1hr 19min Kitchen Sink Challenge by eating it in 15 minutes! That means he gets free Ice Cream for a year. Nice one!

Back in February 1999, a group of people in Sal Salvador got together to raise money for the San Salvador hospotal by creating one of the World's Largest Paellas. It consisted of 1000 pounds of chicken, 400 pounds of pork, 1000 pounds of vegetables, and 550 pounds of rice. It was enough to feed 2500 people! Seconds anyone?

Well, that's what the news report said... personally I think this sounds fantastic!! It's called, "The Mash Cone" and consists of sausage, mash potato, gravy and peas, served in an ice cream cone. Bangers and mash + convenience = this!
