Happy Hamsgiving!
Contributed by: Billy
What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving that by celebrating with Ham! These guys even made up their own holiday! Each of their workplaces would give them honey baked ham vouchers every year for Thanksgiving, so they decided to pool their resources and create "Hamsgiving Day". And with it came the Ham Tower, a creation of sliced smallgoods assembled in a tasty tower. Happy Hamsgiving!

It's from our friend's concocted holiday "hamsgiving." 4 of them separately received honey baked ham gift certificates from their respective places of work for the holidays and decided to cash them in together all at once--thus hamsgiving was born. When i asked for a description of this gloriously gluttonous holiday: "nothing should be consumed that doesnt belong to the animal kingdom. sauces are ok, such as basic ketchup, any type of gravy obviously (provided its stock was rendered from animal fat and/or bones), or the swedish meatball concoction from last year, but anything even suggesting the consistency of a mirepoix is to be considered strictly off-limits. further, in the realm of breads, i think the flour/egg dredge for fried chicken is definitely in play, but something like a hot dog bun is not. again, this is not gospel yet, as i do recall some depraved souls eating tacos with lettuce and tomatoes last year."

Matt and Dana's Meatcake of Elegance
Contributed by: Billy
What a beautifully constructed Meatcake this is. A Meatcake of true elegance. Not only is the icing beautifully finished, the decoration on top of the cake floods the mind with thoughts of the tasty beast. The classiest Meatcake I've ever seen!

Graustark's Mini Meatcake of Wuv
Contributed by: Billy
Awweee... A meatcake made for love. Seems to be a bit of a theme today with the Wedding Meatcake and all! With Graustark's husband not being much of a "cake" person and more of a "meat" person, this was the perfect birthday cake. Meat, the ultimate gift!

Mariko's Bowling Birthday Cake
Contributed by: Billy
Now this is a thick meatcake. No fillers here, all meat, very little "icing". It was meant to resemble a bowling ball for Mariko's 26th birthday. Happy birthday Mariko!

The Wedding Meatcake

Here's something you don't see at your average wedding. It's a Meatcake! Not only did they go a bit different with cupcakes instead of the traditional Fruit cake, they also had a Meatcake on display! Wedding bliss, with meatcake!

pygmalion's Corn Flake Meatcake
Contributed by: Billy
Yes, I said Corn Flakes! Crazy huh? As a filler, instead of using Hamburger Helper or breadcrumbs, pygmalion decided that Corn Flakes would be the filler of choice. As well as that, he used an extremely runny tomato sauce to stick it all together. A saucy, corn-flakey meatcake like you've never seen before!

This meatcake was meant to be the vanguard. The idea of baking a cake made entirely of ground beef and frosted with mashed potatoes was much hyped on several websites, including this one. Boasts were made, trash was talked and gloves were thrown down on the ice. At the time, I feared being regulated to the backseat when the actually bake-off occurred, so I secretly procured all the ingredients and made one my own.

The Happy Valentines Day Meatcake

Casey had a date with V tonight, Valentine's Day. She doesn't like vegetables, and can't eat flour, so I made them a meatcake for dinner. Sadly, I didn't get a picture of it sliced, as I didn't send my camera along with Casey, but he said it looked like a very nice layer cake. The layers were, of course, meatloaf. It was iced with mashed potatoes, topped with a heart of ketchup.

The Croatian Meatcake
Contributed by: Billy
Isn't it great when something comes along that crosses all ethnic and racial borders? Behold the Croatian Meatcake, topped with some sort of strange beans or chick peas, one of the two... It's got eggs and Pepperoni too I think? At least I think it's Croatian, that's where the .hr CCTLD comes from...

josefiend's Dual-layer Meatcake
Contributed by: Billy
Now this is a fine looking meatcake. Stacked with two layers of meatloaf, topped with mashed potato and a great looking "Meat" mural on top. The bean fence around the top was an interesting touch I thought!
