Danamania's Deep Fried Salad Sandwich

You might remember Danamania from her earlier creation of the Beer Battered Deep Fried Bacon Double Quarter Pounder. Well that crazy culinary calorie queen is at it again! [Edited 15 June 07 - Dana's female! (oops!)] This time though she's taken a healthier approach. We all know Bacon Double Quarter Pounders have lots of fat, so this time she's decided to roll with a Salad Sandwich instead. Soggy lettuce anyone?

From: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/410257.html

I tried a deep fried beer battered salad sandwich a few months ago. Unlike the burger, which was just *heavy*, the salad sandwich was nauseating. I finished it, but had to go lie down afterwards to avoid it returning - hot squishy lettuce & cucumber is foul. Still, I guess I should have known that... but somebody had to try it :)

The $10,000 Dollar Ice Cream Challenge

This video is just bizarre. The whole point of the video was to show how good the "Dripnot" Ice Cream Holder is, and how your Ice Cream won't melt all over your hand (and in this case, the $10,000). Sure, it does a good job, but who cares if the money got Ice Cream on it. Hasn't she ever heard of Money Laundering? (ho ho ho)

Expensive tastes? Why not try this $1000 omlette? It's got the usual omlette ingredients, one whole lobster, and 10oz of sevruga caviar. Would you take the $1000, or the omlette? (not very good pics unfortunately)
