A Japanese TV show recently did a report on the Heart Attack Grill. Strange to see the owner speaking in Japanese though. But wtf is up with the interviewer that looks like Ziggy Stardust wearing a crown? Crazy!

Those crazy guys over at SportsPHDs.com (and believe me, they're crazy, check out their Batchelor Party!) recently tried their hand at a Supersized Burger. It's the 2lb Burger Challenge at the Painted Parrot, West Allis, WI. The Challenge: Finish the burger. The Prize: nothing from what I can tell, although there is of course the prestige and boasting potential to your friends!

Angus Third Pounder exceeding sales goals in CA

McDonalds in Japan have had their 4 patty Mega Mac now for some time, and it looks like they're testing the waters in California. They recently released "The Angus Third Pounder", a burger that contains between 720 calories to 860 calories, and it looks like people are gobbling it up! Although it's still early days, signs seem positive. Will McDonalds go back to selling real burgers instead of salads?

Shane Webcke, a legend in Australian Rugby League football. Coming from the country, he knows what a good steak should taste like, and how big it should be. So when Shane bought the Royal Hotel in Leyburn, Queensland, he made sure there was a meal big enough to satisfy his appetite. And thus, the Webcke Rump was born. AU$22. With the meal weighing in at around 1.7kg, this would have to be one of the cheapest and biggest meals you'll find!

So last week, on the way back from a wedding in Goondiwindi (congrats Simon and Chon!), I thought I'd stop in there for a bite to eat...
