New World's Largest Hamburger, 185lb'er, Mallie's Sports Bar, Southgate, MI
Not content with already having the title for the World's Largest Hamburger, Mallie's Sports Bar & Grill wanted to make sure they had the title well and truly wrapped up. And to lock this in, they build a burger weighing in at 185.6 lbs, beating the old Mallie and Guinness record by over 20 pounds of 164.8 lbs! 'Currywurst' museum opens in Germany

Currywurst, the staple of late night drunken cuisine in Germany now has its own museum. Known as the “poor man's steak”, it's a fine concoction of usually a chopped up sausage, some chips, and a sauce comprising of pureed tomato sprinkled with curry powder. They sell these at a speed of 1,500/minute. That's a lot of sausages!

The BF Burger Challenge, The Big Burger Shack, Maryborough, QLD, AU
It doesn't take much imagination to figure out what the "BF" stands for once you've seen this Burger Challenge. It's the BF Challenge from The Big Burger Shack in Maryborough. The burger weighs in usually at approximately 1070g for a challenge and consists of 3 x 180g beef patties, 1 x 220g chicken Schnitzel, 3 – 4 pieces of bacon and cheese depending on if they have to bring the weight up, lettuce, tomato and fried onion. Eaters choice of sauce. The Challenge: Eat it. The Prize: Your name on the leader board. Beat the fastest time and get a t-shirt!
Update 01-Feb-09: We have a new leader Dick at 7:35. After 6 weeks someone actually beat Richo.
Update 12-Sept-09: Rowboat completed the burger in 6:34 smashing Dicks record by 1 minute

Everything is better with bacon.... including an AK-47 Assult Rifle apparently! Covered in bacon, this is one meaty piece of artiliary that will be sure to scare off any pork hating enemy. I wonder if the bacon cooks if you fire off a few dozen rounds?

Guy eats the hottest Chilli in the world!

I've eaten some pretty hot chilli's in my time, but I don't think it comes anywhere near what this guy ate. He's apparently eating one of the world's hottest chilli's, the Bhut Jolokia pepper. Not only does he eat it, but he documents it for us to lol at... hahah... poor guy. Shame there's not a follow up vid of what happened later!

The “Kanonenputzer” - Giant Swiss Sausage

The “Kanonenputzer” seems to be a bit hard to find! It's a giant sausage served up at a place called Restaurant Zeughauskeller in Zurich. Up to 1 metre long, it's all the meal you need when you're in the cold cold months of a Zurich winter!

Chinese Chef Makes World’s Longest Noodle

This guy sure knows how to use his noodle. From only 1kg of Flour, he managed to make a noodle 2,852 meters long. !!!!!! Not sure if I'd want to eat it after it's been sitting on his head, but still, that's a lotta noodle!
