Apparently some Japanese tourists got slugged with a bill of nearly 700 Euro's for two plates of pasta, a bottle of water, a bottle of wine and a fruit salad. Back in April of 2008 in Montevideo, Uruguay, locals got together to try and beat the world record for the world's largest BBQ. 12 Metric Tonnes of grilled beef later, (that's 26,400 lbs!) they had the record! 1,250 people BBQ'd the beef on a grill 1 mile long, and beating the Mexican record by 4 tonnes!
