World's Tallest Ice Cream Cone

Way back in 2005, Eisenhower Junior High School apparently set the World Record for the World's Tallest Ice Cream Cone! The height? 13 inches. There's a bunch of rules that govern whether an Ice Cream qualifies.... width at the base, width at the top... who would have thought!? Even though, I still think I could give the record a good crack...

On May 16, 2005, Eisenhower Junior High School set a new world record for producing the World's Tallest Ice Cream Cone. Three 9th Grade students produced an ice cream cone that reached a height of 13.00 inches. This record has now been accepted by World Records for Schools and Mormon World Records. For more information on this event, see the newspaper article "Here's the Scoop: Kids Aiming High," that appeared in the May 15, 2005, edition of the Deseret Morning News of Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

Australian Big Mac not so big after all

It's been suspected for a very long time, but now it's official. The Big Mac isn't so big after all. Coming in with a width of up to 20% less than its Central American counterpart, the Aussie Big Mac is also the lightest of the bunch. Maybe they should rename it "Not So Big Mac for Health Conscious Australians"?

From: http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,,25629611-5006301,00.html

CALL it the Not So Big Mac. It has been revealed the Australian version of the McDonald's signature product is actually more than 20 per cent smaller than its namesake in other nations.
