Hardee's Thickburger Eating Competition

Back in 2006 at the "Tailgating in the Upstate" show, Hardee's held a Thickburger eating competition. The person who could eat the most Thickburgers in 10 minutes scored a free grill and a years supply of Hardee's Thickburgers. The winner ended up eating 6 of them, but only after rolling them up into a ball and eating them afterwards! New Competitive Eating strategy? Interesting, but kinda gross...

BLT Scented Candles

[via Erin Cooks] Like the Bacon Apple Pie? Then you might just like Bacon/Lettuce/Tomato scented candles! Make your house smell like a cheap diner with these flaming creations. Doesn't necessarily mean because it smells good, it tastes good though...

From: http://www.gratefulpalate.com/?p=RCANDLESET

Bacon = Freedom; Lettuce = Love; Tomato = Passion. I've invented Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato votive candles. Maybe I'm crazy, but here's how my mind works: I love the smell of bacon cooking. I fantasize about having bacon grilling on the stove day and night. In my philosophic musings I asked myself what is better than a BLT? As much as I try, I can't eat a BLT at every meal and I can't grill bacon 24 hours a day.
