Giant Cake Taco

Not quite a real taco, but looks pretty close to me!

From: http://kimberlychapman.com/crafts/cakes/cakegallery.html#taco

This was made for a friend who enjoys tacos. The taco shell was made with yellow sugarpaste with Oreo crumbs mixed in. Some eating it said they found the "meat" to be "disturbingly realistic."

Like a kid in a Burger store

The look on this kids face is gold... I think I'd look the same way if that burger was in front of me (even though this one is 'shopped) :)

Grandpa Al and his Giant Sandwich, Harold's NY Deli, New Jersey
Grandpa Al is fast becoming a bit of a celebrity here on SupersizedMeals.com. This time he tackles Harold's New York Deli's Pastrami Sandwich. It's a HUGE sandwich!

Harold's is a large restaurant serving enormous portions of food to enormous people (and regular size people, too). It is for this reason, we believe, that Harold's sometimes doesn't get the respect it so well deserves. It would be natural to assume that a restaurant whose schtick is to serve comically large servings of food would not devote much attention to the quality of that food. That assumption, at Harold's, couldn’t be more wrong.

Bruegger's World's Largest Bagel
When I think of Bagels, I think of a nice, hot, fresh bagel with cream cheese... mmm... I think I'd need a small tip-truck of cream cheese for this one though....

From: http://www.brueggers.com/news/news-080405.html

Burlington, Vt. (August 4, 2005) - There are bagels, and there are bagels so big that they earn their place in history. Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. recently received official notification from Guinness World Records that its attempt to bake the world's largest bagel has set the new world record.

Huge Japanese Burgers

I've been finding more and more "Once Off" photos around the net of random supersized meals, so I thought I'd dedicate a photo album to them! There's now a photo album called Once Off Photos, where all the lonely photos go :) Found this over on japanprobe the other day, some sort of mega Katsu burger! Oh, and if anyone knows where this burger originated from, please let us know by leaving a comment!

From: http://www.japanprobe.com/?p=50

Here we have the giant burger compared to an average burger. A true fatso of a burger. This ungodly creation seems to contain an egg, some lettuce, a couple burgers, some big katsu-looing thing, and some sauce. And all for the low cost of about 7 US dollars. Too bad I missed the part where they said what store sells them. If you know where you can find this massive burger, let me know.
