$8 brick of cheese fries at LA County Fair
Cheese fries.... the staple entree for most steak restaurants. But have you ever heard of a brick of cheese fries? Those deep fried innovators at the LA Country Fair came up with the idea. Not sure why... perhaps they're easier to stack and sell, or perhaps they'll build a house with them if they don't sell enough... Who knows... but I do know they look DAMN TASTY!!

From: http://laist.com/2008/09/18/destory_your_stomach_at_the_la_coun.php

Check this $8 brick of cheese fries out. Tip: the easiest way to eat it is to pick it up like a sandwich go nom nom nom...

Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

Is there nothing bacon can 't do? Mr B from Bacon Today came up with this ingenious idea while out shopping after picking up a tube of ready-to-cook cinnamon rolls. BACON!

From: http://www.bacontoday.com/bacon-cinnamon-rolls/

While grocery shopping the other day I picked up a tube of ready-to-cook cinnamon rolls and thought hey, I wonder how these would taste with bacon. As I read the back of the package I was reminded that the rolls are actually un-rolled when you remove them.

Burgerzilla! Anchorage, AK, Alaska
[via A Hamburger Today] Burgerzilla! Even the name sounds epic. Apparently there's a giant food-van-kitchen-thing-on-wheels on the corner of Old Seward Highway and 56th Avenue, Anchorage that serves this mammoth burger. What is it you may ask? Well for $20.95 you get a 4lb 5oz burger with double cheese. (3lbs of meat!) Hmm I wonder if they'd show up to a ball game or something... now that would be something! Get in quick though, she's closing down for winter at the end of September!

Massive sandwich will destroy any amount of hunger. I bought a hamburger at Sunshine Express the other day. I was still eating on it at lunch the next day. The same one. And it wasn't even the joint's biggest burger.

Couple have Giant Hamburger instead of Wedding Cake

[via A Hamburger Today] Forget the usual tiered white wedding cake. This couple love burgers so much they decided to make a giant one and use it instead! Tom and Kerry Watts of Poringland, England, served a 19 kilogram (42 pound) cheeseburger at their wedding reception made by American restaurant min-chain, Zaks. Looks an awful lot like one of our Megaburgers!... Ah, how romantic...

From: http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives/2008/09/giant-wedding-burger-tom-kerry-watts.html

While most bride and grooms traditionally cut a wedding cake on their special day, fast food fans Tom and Kerry Watts enjoyed a huge burger complete with all the trimmings. The mammoth 19kg (42lb) cheeseburger, which was nearly half a metre wide and weighed the equivalent of about 100 quarterpounders, was the highlight of the couple's wedding reception at Zaks at the Swan, in Poringland, after they got married at nearby All Saints Church yesterday

The Hungry Jacks Octo Stacker Value Meal Challenge
You might have heard recently Hungry Jacks (Australia's Burger King) brought out the "Stacker" range of burgers, Double, Triple and Quad to the menu. Of course all the health hippies were up in arms at how irresponsible Hungry Jacks were in releasing the burger. Ho hum. Well rather than try the stock-standard Quad Stacker, I thought I'd give the Octo Stacker Value Meal Challenge a go. The Challenge: Finish an Octo Stacker (8 patties, 8 slices of cheese, 4 slices of bacon), Large Onion Rings and a Large Diet Coke (lol!). Part of the challenge was re-creating the stacker with 8 layers of Onion Rings built into the burger. With a rebuild and a structural support, we had ourselves one mighty burger!

You know those UFO games where you've got the hook, and you have to guide it inside the glass box to get the fluffy toy? Yeah, pretty lame. But what if the prize you were trying to hook was a live Lobster!!! Those crazy cats in Japan have done exactly that. For 200 yen a turn (about $2) you too can have a go at winning your very own live lobster. Just make sure you're about to leave. Putting that prize in your bag might not work out for the best!
