One of our Anonymous readers sent this in... never had a "Frikandellen" before, but sounds tasty! According to our old friend, Wikipedia, a Frikandel is a Dutch snack, a sort of minced-meat hot dog. It is a long, dark-coloured sausage that is eaten warm. Unlike other sausages, a frikandel is deep-fried. Sometimes it is served on a piece of bread, and is called a broodje frikandel. Mmm!

I was in London last week, and had to go and check out the home of the Worlds Most Expensive Sandwich, Selfridges in London. For GBP$85, you too can have this fine sandwich. Problem is, it's a takeaway sandwich shop, so it's a bit hard to find a seat! I had a chat to the guy behind the counter and found some interesting stuff about it... read on!

So I'm starting to realise that these are fairly common in Europe... just as well... it's been damn hot in the Netherlands and Italy over the last 2 weeks!

Ethiopian cuisine is something I hadn't tried before. I have to say that I was pleasently surprised to find they make these huge pancake type things topped with spicy meats... mmm... tasty!

Maggiejumps and a bunch of friends try to down twelve 8x8s, a 4x4 and one order of fries. That's a total of 112 meat pattys! We've already seen pics of Monica chowing down on her 8x8, now check out the rest of her team try and conquer this mountain of In 'n' Out Burgers (and the cheese, oh the cheese!) But unfortunately some bad news! Photos like this might start to become a little rare, according to this latest comment in the 100x100 post, In 'n' Out are no longer letting people buy the 8x8! Say it isn't so!!!
