There's an upcoming event on November 18 in Nottingham Road, South Africa, which will see a world breaking record attempt to make a 27kg Burger Patty! Why Cadbury haven't started making these has got me beat. They'd make a truckload of cash if they did (or maybe they'd make less because people wouldn't buy as many to do this!) Check this one out, it's the Creme de la Creme Egg! Custom made filling, about 3 times as big, and even has a nice custom made wrapper!

Like a marathon, a Chow-a-thon involves feats of endurance, only this time it involves beer, In 'n' Out Burger, and milkshakes. A scary combination in anyones books. I think the results speak for themselves...

The challenge:
Drink 5 beers, run half a mile to in-n-out, eat a double double and drink a milkshake, run back half a mile, drink one more beer. Vegetarians had to eat two grilled cheeses instead of the double double.

The kind folks over at the Texas State Fair sent me some pictures of this fine deep fried creation. It's Deep Fried Coke! Coke flavored batter is deep fried, dusted with cinnamon sugar, covered in Coke syrup, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. A fantastic artery clogging creation! A quick factoid: Did you know that the Texas State Fair was where the Corn Dog was invented? Sounds like it's the home of all things deep fried!

DALLAS -- There are fried Twinkies and even fried candy bars.

Now, vendor Abel Gonzales Jr. has come up with a new artery-clogging concoction for the State Fair of Texas. It's fried Coke.

Gonzales deep-fries Coca-Cola-flavored batter. He then drizzles Coke fountain syrup on it. The fried Coke is topped with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a cherry. Gonzales said the fried Coke came about just from thinking aloud.

Another calorie-packed supersized meal. This time, it's deep fried pizza! The Atlantic Chip Shop in Brooklyn, NY thought deep frying a pizza would bring out the flavor, and apparently it has! It tastes a bit like a combination of a pizza roll and mozzarella stick. Awesome...

When Las Vegas celebrates, they do it big. And back in 2005, when they were celebrating their centenary, they created a birthday cake, a BIG birthday cake. In fact, the worlds largest! 30,000 half-sheet cakes and nearly 40,000 pounds of frosting later, they had the worlds largest birthday cake!

So during the early hours of the morning on May 15, 2005, eight semi-trucks from North Carolina drove into the loading zone at Cashman Center hauling 30,000 half-sheet cakes and nearly 40,000 pounds of frosting.
