To raise charity, this restauranteur has created a $4000 pizza to help the Fred Hollows Foundation. I wonder if they'll honor a competitors 2-for-1 coupon?

Bob's BBQ comments on Clinton Station Diner's World Record Attempt

Bob, from Bob's BBQ (the current World Record Holder for the World's Largest Commercially Available Hamburger) comments on the recent attempt made by the Clinton Station Diner. Bob's BBQ currently holds the Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Hamburger. They won this title in late July, 2006. (Story and pictures here and here) Then in late October 2006, The Clinton Station Diner created "The 8th Wonder", weighing in at a mammoth 105lb's, and unofficially claiming the title of the World's Largest Burger. Bob has graciously commented on this latest attempt, and doesn't believe that Guinness will give the award to the Clinton Station Diner, claiming:

... Do I think it will make the World Record? Not a chance! The first thing I noticed was the meat is not fully cooked in the center and this is one of Guinness strict guidelines, There also has to be a certified Health official on premises to certify the fact that it was fully cooked and I saw no mention of this, The second biggest thing I see is there are just to many toppings and as already mentioned this is another strict guideline that it has to be in proportion to a normal burger...

Seems there's more to the Big Burger Wars than one would think!

The Hamburglar Cake

Ok, so it's not quite a meatcake, but looks an awful lot like one. It's the Hamburglar cake, and one lucky 4 year old got it made for his 4th birthday! A very tasty looking cake that looks like a burger.

First step in making the hamburger cake for Zack's 4th birthday...I had to mix milk chocolate frosting, orange paste food coloring and yellow paste food coloring to get the "bun" color.
