Coming from the Supersized Calorie Department, the Japanese have come up with what I think is a fantastic idea! Instead of stuffing their pizza crusts with boring things like cheese or garlic, they've found the fattest thing possible! Sausage! Yes, one continuous sausage is wrapped under the entire pizza, making what I'd like to think of as a "circle of sausagy love", circling their cheesy creation with tasty meats.... Awesome idea!

Gal Sone and her entourage head out to a small Italian restaurant in Japan for a far-from-small meal. The first dish looks like a hollowed out loaf of bread filled with pasta, white sauce, topped with cheese, and grilled. Weighing in at 2.4kg's it's pretty big! The other three have massive bowls of pasta covered in white sauce, topped with cheese and grilled. 3.5kg's each. Gal Sone, Giant Shirota, and a nice old lady have one of these each... crazy! Who will win?

Could this be the biggest (or fattest/highest calorie) sandwich ever made at home? Derian made a 30,000 calorie sandwich a while ago, but I think this one looks bigger (and fatter!). This deep-fried monstrocity is literally heart stopping! Everything is either shallow or deep fried, topped with cheese, mayo, and shoved between 4 massive bread rolls. Done. At 10:46 AM on Monday the 15th, we finished our behemoth sandwich. It was absolutely delicious throughout and we are very pleased with how it turned out. It took us roughly thirty-six hours to eat, but due to the insane size we feel that this is acceptable. Here are some more pictures from during the construction of the sandwich.

Bay area radio station 107.7 "The Bone" recently held a competition to promote the new Burger King "Stackers" Burger. The "Battle of the Bay" was to see who could make the tallest BK Stacker tower for a bunch of prizes. The winning stacker was 11 inches high!
