Booster Juice makes the World's Largest Smoothie

Booster Juice recently set the world record for the largest smoothie ever created. It was a 195 gallon smoothie in a giant cup. I especially like the plumbers pipe they used as a straw (complete with plumber writing on the side, haha)

From: http://www.junkfoodnews.net/worldrecords.htm

KITCHENER, ONTARIO - After 7 blenders, 3.5 hours of blending and over 195 gallons of smoothie, a Booster Juice store in Kitchener, Canada broke the current record for the World's Largest Smoothie. To break this record Booster Juice had to surpass the previous record of 333 litres or 88 gallons of delicious smoothie. City firefighters were on site to help in the attempt to enter the Guinness World Records by making the world's largest smoothie. Best of all, Booster Juice raised $1,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society by selling the world's largest smoothie in 24 oz cups after the record breaking event.

Yummy Village Sushi Challenge, New York, NY
I love good sushi. Fresh, clean, tasty, and surprisingly filling. And if you like your sushi in vast quantities, then this challenge is definately for you. The Challenge: to eat more sushi than the last record holder in 20 minutes or less. Beat the previous record, get your sushi for free. Lose, and you have to pay for the sushi you've eaten. A pretty safe bet for the restaurant owner, don't you think? Check out the awesome video of one guy attempting the challenge, and a few pics too!

The Raclette Challenge, Méribel-Mottaret, France
A Raclette is both a type of cheese and a fondue-like dish featuring the cheese. And in the Méribel-Mottaret region of France, one of the ski resorts has a cheese eating challenge like no other. The Challenge: eat half a round of cheese between four people. The cheese is usually fashioned into a round of about 6 kg (13 lb), so that's still a lot of cheese... Details are sketchy, and I've only found 1 photo of the actual cheese, but regardless, that's a lotta cheese you'd have to eat!

The Raclette challenge: eat half a round of cheese between four people. Raclette is melted on a grill bar and eaten with potatoes, cold meats and pickles. It's important not to fill up to much on these or you'll never finish all the cheese.

Cabots Ice Cream "The Great Pyramid"
Getting a "4-scoop" from an Ice Cream Parlor is usually pretty hard core.... But that's nothing compared to Cabots Ice Cream's, "The Great Pyramid". From what I could see, this thing has at least 90 scoops on the outside layer. Going by how thick this is, I'm sure you'd get a pretty huge Ice Cream headache if you attempted it yourself. Serving "up to 175 serves", could this be the world's largest commercially available party Ice Cream?

From: http://www.cabots.com/parties.htm

Looking for some great fun at your next party or office function? How about throwing a Cabot's Ice Cream Party or Ice Cream Social. We can supply you with everything from "Scoops to Nuts"! The Great Pyramid - Sixty Pints of Ice Cream, Twelve Quarts of Topping, Marshmallow, Nuts, and Cherries.
